One to two hours a day of practicing is good. And no you are not too old to learn how to play the saxophone. I have a seventy three year old uncle who just started to learn to play guitar.

If you really want to learn, go ahead! If you`re dedicated to the instrument, then you`ll learn fast.

If you do to decide to start learning I wish you the best of luck!
