I`m desperately seeking the piano score for Norah Jones` "Don`t know why"; as there haven`t been any reactions to my post at the riff suggestions forum (YET, or at least I hope so), I thought I`d better give it a try somewhere else as well. So if anyone of you has it, or knows where to find it, please send me an email! Or maybe one of you 8notes people could put a riff on the site? Thanx!

Hey, if you get the sheet music, I would love to get my hands on it. I`ve been spending a lot of time the past week searching, and no luck yet. Also, if anyone gets "The Nearness of You," that`s actually what I really want (for piano.) Thanks!

I`ve also been looking for some kind of notation for Don`t Know Why so I can try to work out a piano part. My local music shop tells me that she hasn`t sold enough CDs yet to make it worthwhile selling sheet music for the album... agh!! However, I have found guitar tabs/chords for the song at www.olga.net.
Good luck!

In France, it`s on the topten
My favorite song is "lonestar".
If someone knows the way to obtain the sheet, thanks to give me the solution

At www.norahjones.info you can find a lot of links concerning the song do`nt know why... and, indeed some are about tabs and sheet music. There I found a free guitar tab (+chords), and a link to www.halleonard.com, where they sell the sheet music. It is stated tot cost 3.95 us dollars, at least for the US. Hope it helps you guys (&girls) a bit out, because as stated, it is such a lovely song.

I bought the Hal Leonard sheet music last week, so it`s definitely available. However, it`s got to be the WORST arrangement EVER written! My copy is already spotted with little bits of white Post-It tape where I`ve covered up "bad" notes. But, seeing as how, before this, I was sitting down at the piano with my blank musical notation paper and the CD listening to it over and over and over again, just to get the first verse done....having the sheet music helps a LOT - it`s just that there`s no WAY this is the version I`ll be using! But, to be honest, MY version is MUCH better.

P.S. - They`ve got a stretch written in there from the E flat above middle C to the F an octave above! I defy the folks at Hal Leonard to play THAT easily! I`ll concede that I no longer have the stretch I did when I was studying music seriously (a 10th was easy-breezy, an 11th more challenging, and a 12th, possible, but painful), but STILL....

Hi! I`am looking for the samething. I don`t know if you`ve had any luck since your posting. However if you have, would you mind sharing it with me. And in the meantime, I will continue the search on this side. May be i`ll get lucky and if so then i`ll send it to you. My wife likes to sing loung type music and this would be a great addition to what we already do. Hope to here from you. And good luck with the continued search. Bye.

I don`t know if this will help but the woods music stores sell the entire album with guitar tab, piano and vocal music for about £13.95. I bought it last week and why doesn`t anyone my age (13) seem to like Norah Jones? She`s a quality musician.
