how can i learn jazz?? is it hard?? i am a freshmen in highskool.....should i take lessons or sumptin...i already take sax lessons but my tutor is more of a classical person.......

Try learning from a book. You can get one of these from www.jwpepper.com. Check out their "jazz ensemble" link. By the way, most jazz is improv. Try basing a song on a blues scale. If you don`t know, blues scales are scales that are missing some notes along with some notes augmented to give it a bluesy sound. Good luck!
