HELP!!!can anyone tell me if i shood swicth from sax to flute,or both??

well, probably you could get a lot goin for either one, i say both if you can handle it. might as well, instead of having to pick between them. or pick another instrument. best of luck on your pick.

Sax and flute have similar fingering except a C on a flute could be a G on a sax. If i had the chance i would learn sax as well as flute.

Well, I play both and both are simular, but it depends on what kind of sound you want as well. Do you want a high sound or a lower? It all depends I say you should try the flute and the sax and figure which one you feel the most comfortable with and get that one. But its always nice to have a back-up.

Well i guess it depends on what sort of music you like. I mean, in general, flute is more classically orientated than sax. Of course, then there`s Jethro Tull....

id say the flute is soothing but the sax rocks so also depends on what you like the best do u like soothing or do you like rock jazzy i suppose mellow but much louder sound

Sax is awesome but I personally like my flute better. Probably because I play the crappy soprano sax and there`s hardly any music for it. So if you go with sax I recommend either alto, tenor or baritone. Good luck!

if u go for the sax id go for also or tenor to alto is smaller and no so heavy and soprano is harder than alto ive found taking mm soprano back tomorrow cudnt get on with it but alto is another matter

I play flute and i am very partial to it. It is quite a wonderful instrument...however I also play oboe....and I can tell you from experience that learning two instruments would be the better choice. Sort of like two heads are better than one.

well the flute is better cause of different embushoure setting you will not blow evenly into the sax as well as the flute and vise versa ok bye.
