I have now played on a Gliga Professional for 3 years. When you buy one of these violins, the first thing you should do is take them to have the sound post and bridge refitted, this will dramatically improve your sound. The ones that come originally on these violins are very cheap. Good strings also will tremendously improve the sound as well. I recommend no less than Thomastik Dominants or no more than Piastro Eudoxa for these violins. New pegs will allow the violin to stay in tune, as well as allow for easier tuning. With these simple modifications, you can improve your sound 100%. Storing your violin in the right conditions and consistantly playing them will allow for the wood to age properly, which will gradually open up your sound. My fellow violinists still can`t believe the price I paid for mine.
