i have been playing the clarinet for 3 years now and planning to switch over to saxaphone.i heard that if you can play a clarinet you could definetly play a saxaphone.i would like to play a jazzy rock which saxaphone would you recommened? i would be deeply appreciated to hear your advice. oh yeah i would like to play soprano or alto which one or other is best for jazzy rock?

i would suggest that you go for alto if u want jazz. Saprano is anyway, harder 2 play for a beginner saxaphonist. Just wanna add abit, its not always true that a clarinetist can play a saxaphone or vice versa. However, its always good to try out new instrument n the saxaphone.
