Hello all. I`m actually a junior in college majoring in flute and need some help with the horn- I`ve played mellophone in marching band, but it`s quite different from Horn to me. I have a brass techniques class and have been assigned the horn and our class was shown to stick our hand into the bell and how to position it. I`m not sure I have it down, so I was wondering if anyone can describe the setup/position of the hand in the horn and how it sits in one`s lap...it`s uncomfortable for me the way I`m doing it. Thanks!!!
