Thats easy go with Ahead drumsticks.. basically lars ulrich`s sticks.. with nylon tips.. they never break. and u only have to replace the tips every few months or so and replace the tape ever so often.. and it doesn`t give u blisters.. nor damages your cymbals.. its an unbreakable stick basically.. and has a very nice grip

I have played trap set for 5 years now and I have played in a professional band. I find that the best drumsicks are vic firth, but to as what model it all depends on the music. Heavy stuff is best with Dave Weckel, Light jazzy stuff would be like Steve Gadd. Vic firths web site can help you find the right sticks as well.

I recommend that you try the Matt Savage brand drum sticks that we use here in the Drumline at South Panola. They produce the best playing ability than most other sticks that we have tried.

it depends on what style of music you are trying to play. Vic firth has a good selection of sticks to choose from.
