Do instructional music books usually specify for what type of clarinet they are geared? I looked back over the books I had as a student and I found nothing. Would it say something like "Albert" instead of "15-key"?
And I`m still a little confused as to what the difference is between different key systems. They are built differently and have different numbers of keys? So this means playing a 15-key clarinet would be entirely different from a 17-key as far as what fingers/keys one would use to play certain notes?

This was supposed to be within another thread. I don`t know what happened. I`m trying to understand the difference between 15-key and 17-key B flat clarinets. Sorry if this causes any confusion!
