I came across this site looking for information also.
It seems there are some folks that hang out here that are violin experts.
How about taking a shot at this?
My Grandfather, which would be about 125 years old, if still alive had this violin since he was a child so I`m told.
My mother has had this unit in her possesion for many years and now at 80 herself, can`t remember much about it`s past.
I located a paper inside of it that reads "copy of Antwone?Stratavarious" made in Germany.
The wording is legible, I just can`t remember the first part of the spelling.
Is there anyone out there that can take a shot at this?
