I want to generate a mock-appraisal on a 1796 violin by Joseph Gotz before venturing out of the mid-west for a final value appraisal. Where can I find some record of past sales or auctions of his works?Even contacting the Gotz family in Germany has yielded no answers. Can anyone offer up some help?
