I bought a violin at an auction to learn how to play inside it has the following writing

Andreas Amati Fecit
Cremonae anno 1630
made in germany

is it ok to learn on and who and what is all the writing

I have a very old violin with these words inscribed inside:
Andreas Amati Fecit
Cremonae Anna 1645. does this mean it is from the famous Italian Andreas Amati from the 1600`s??. anyone know anything about this violin?? thanks.
