You stick either cigarette paper or a dollar bill in undeneath the pad andgently press down on the key, putting the paper between the instrument and the pad. The paper should blot off the "stick" after a few tries.

Or even just when they sound like they`re sticking whenever you let them spring up after playing a note. There should hardly be any sound when you let your keys go.

Sticky pads are fairly common, with instruments such as the flute and saxophone. I don`t know how many pads there are to cause problems on an oboe or clarinet, but I`m sure it`s also possible.

I looked on the gemenhardt website and it said use alchol,
but that dosent help. The key thats stuck is the one before the last three keys on the middle joint. The G always gets stuck! Anyone have any suggestions? PS Ive tried the dollar bill!
