i have an old genuine Stradivari violin , which i inherited from my forefathers, vintage is around 1732. I am located in India. only a serious person will contact me to buy this rare piece.

Can u further explain or at least detailed how u come into asserting it as a genuine copy? We`ll be interested to know. If yrs is truly a genuine. I`ll be really interested. And may I know which series is yrs?

So yr chance of owning an authentic is very slim. In addition, thousands of violins have been made in tribute to Stradivari, copying his model and bearing labels that read "Stradivarius." Therefore, the presence of a Stradivarius label in a violin has no bearing on whether the instrument is a genuine work of Stradivari himself.
