I need some help on learning to play the viola. I know this sounds strange but I`m actually in Baghdad with the CPA and found a viola at a bazzar and thought I`d try to learn and play it. I`ve got it tuned properly and the bow rosined so that when I draw the bow across the strings it makes the correct tone of sound (as judged by my electronic tuner). I`ve also got a pretty good idea of holding the instrument (the bow is a different story). What I`m looking for is some place online that I can get tips on bowing, finger placement when playing notes, a chord chart (if there is one for Viola) and especially any basic music (Twinkle Twinkle Little Star type) that I can work on.

I know I`m going about this backwards but this is strictly for my own relaxation/enjoyment and to put the few hours I have free a day to good use.

Any pointers/help will be greatly appreciated.
