the keys are abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz my favorite note is q it has such a beatiful tone. i believe u should get some private lessons if u would like to learn more about the piano. or i could even teach u i am a professional pianist as u can tell after my demestrantion of my immense knowledge about the notes on the piano. if u would like lessons just reply and i will give u my phone # so we can contact each other.

But, I thought the notes on the piano are C D E F G A B C ? or A B C D E F G and they repeat themselves. If you are serious in learning the instrument, then hire a teacher for the fastest results.

They are. It goes CDEFGAB and then C again. One thing you might want to learn is how to read to treble clef. If don`t know how. I`ll give you a tip on reading it. You notice that the lines and spaces of the note in the treble clef are one line or space down from that in the bass clef. Confused? For examle in the bass clef, the E is the third space, well in the treble clef it is one space up in the fourth. Get it? E-mail me if you want to know more.

Plz ignore the idiot telling u the notes of the complete alphabet. the notes are as listed in ur 3rd reply. It is a simple instrument, but will take alot of practise to adjust to. i would reccomend getting an instructor or friend who knows what they are doing so sum of these clowns don`t completly wreck any understanding u had for music.

I can help with some things...here`s a website shows a picture of what notes are what---> http://www.music-mind.com/Music/mpage1.HTM and here`s a website that trains you on learning how to memorize notes---> http://www.musictheory.net/ it would be much better to play with the piano too, have a little fun with it...i was a clarinet that spent two to three years teaching myself how to play the piano...i got some help from the online training, like starting out with c instead of a and you also have to learn how to read details too...that might take a while but if your hearts in the right place you`ll amaze yourself someday. get some good excersizes too and get those pinky fingers in shape it shouldn`t take too long to learn some things since you already know how to read notes in general and know rythem and beats and the complication of some notes. but this time your left hand is the base and your right hand is the melody. its like that on most sheetmusic. enjoy and good training if you want any of my help just reach me at rose_poem@yahoo.com
