I was wondering if a German system clarinet sounds the same as one such as a Bohem system. Technically that is, if the same pitch notes can be made. I was interested in learning the German system clarinet since I already play the commonly used one. Will it be of any use in a regular school and community band? I was thinking if they sound the same then it would be a nice thing to learn.
