I`m brand new at the sax.. I just bought my first used alto.... just decided one day to learn... I`m hav`n a hard time with embouchre. some time i havehigh notes and then they will just switch to lower notes... I can almost play a scale but when i take all my fingers off the horn the sound seem to drop an octave. Help please...

ok i have never played on an alto once but i do play tenor what u need to do and this works really good on tenors, loosen ur embouchre on the lower notes, also try moving ur chin up down and see if that makes a difference. when u higher tighten the embouchre. hope this helps. if u have any other questions please email me.
