Hello my name is angel and im an intermediate/advanced violin student ive gotten so far on the violin ive won state competitions traveled the country even played gigs for money and im only sixteen. but my problem is i learn alot by ear and know very little about music theory. my teacher has been trying to help me and its really confusing!!! sometimes i wonder how ive gotten so far without knowing alot about music theory. what can i do to better myself at reading and decoding music MYSELF and music theory?
