I saw a really cool Monique sax on Dominic`s music.com and it was colored. Is Monique a good brand, and is dominic`s a good site?

Color and appearance have absolutely nothing to do with the quality and intonation of an instruments. As for Dominic`s, I bought my soprano from him about 4 months ago and have been happy with it so far. And if you`re getting Monique, be sure you`re getting the Taiwan made and not the Chinese made as the Chinese made instruments are HORRIBLE.

An amendment to my previous post:
The COLOR has nothing to do with the sound, but the material and type of finish does. Different finishes produce more broad or hollow sounds and tones. DON`T let a saxophone`s appearance draw you into buying it, its a cheap advertising trick. Remember that its not how it looks but what it sounds like...
