hello i am going to buy a violin and start playing it and transfering my musical theory knowledge to it but first id like some info on it so i can tackle my enemy even before we meet ^_^
what is the tunning?i belive it is something similar to mandolin? and are the notes seperated by fiths or what? also is it hard to figure out how to move the bow against the strings and to get the true tone do you push your finger agains the fretboard real hard or is it a easy and gentle instrument?and also is there diffrences in the feel of electric violins and acoustics?
