I`m 21 years of age and have absolutely no background in music. I aspire to play the piano or the keyboard with some decency enough to cope with pop tunes. I`m willing to invest 2 years of frequent practice, but University schedules and finances do not permit a prolonged commitment to monthly classes.(3 -4years?)it is disheartening to know that 2 years of practice might not even get me started on playing just pop tunes. will a lesson a week be enough? and how many hours do i sink in per day? or should i give it all up? i don`t aspire to be a professional, but i want to be good enough to be playing for the church.
