i am really crazy about jazz music,i need help in playing jazz, particularly iprovisation and progression of blues chords.it is my sisth year of strugle in an attempt to play jazz but find litle or no help.please help if they are any free services ofered.please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!! am always in the internet ,libraries but alas.

In order to play jazz (especially improv), you hafta` really know your instrument. If you play the piano/keyboard, it`s important to know not only scales and chords, but where every key is actually located on the piano/keyboard. The most important thing is being loose. If you are tense in any area of your body, it will be reflected in your music.
One thing that helped me was playing by ear. Listen to different types of music and try and play them by ear. This will really enhance you skills, knowledge, and coordination. It`s kind of difficult to teach jazz, because it`s so soulful y`know? It`s like you feel the music more that understand it, and thas` why you gotta` know the scales and whatnot (know you instrument.)

And keep on practicin`...what ever you do keep *Practicing*. You`ll get where you want to be in due time.

You can`t improve unless you know your instrument like the back of your hand. I used to improve. It was fun, so is jazz!!
