I have recently purchased a Yamaha tenor 62. I prefer a dark broad sound and am thinking of purchasing an Otto Link NY mpc. The choice is between a Rovner dark lig or a higher range Vandoren optimum lig. I understand that one of the slides (there are 3 provided) for the Vandoren gives a real dark sound. Which lig is better? Also, would a Van V5 or V16 lig better fit the Otto NY ? Appreciate your help. Thanks !
