Does anyone know the meaning behind this song. There is a little debate here about what it means. Does anyone know?

the way i hear it, they are supposed to be about her father. "and if you have to leave. i wish that you would just leave" is talking about how her parents kept fighting and she just wanted it to end. "your face it ruins, my once pleasant dreams, your voice it takes away all the sanity in me" is talking about her recollection of the fights and bickering that went on between her parents.
