I am a beginner (playing about two months, on my own, without lessons). Sometimes, no matter what I do, I cannot go from F to Eb in the upper register. I take the oboe apart, clean it, try different reeds, and anything else I can think of. (At other times, this is no problem.) I`m playing a Yamaha 211.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
