i started out on a rented OLDS saxophone and now i own it. I am now in 9th grade and for my birthday my parents bought me a silver yamaha professional model for about 2,000 USD. I always use the YAMAHA as my premier instrument. I recently decided that i wanted to collect different types of finishes on saxophones. I have the gold and silver laquer already. I want black and white finishes. I also saw on ebay a green laquered sax. I dont need these horns to be able to withstand everyday use but i still want good quality playing and sound for occasional use. What can anyone reccomend for me? Right now i am looking at the german made helmke for about $300. please let me know what u think about helmke and if you have any other suggestions of brands that will fit my requirements PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
