I`m looking to buy a new oboe for my daughter who is a junior in HS. She currently plays a Fox 330 but has out-grown it. I have two questions:
1) Are the oboes with a top plastic joint and bottom wood a good alternative to an all wood?
2) Also, Buffet Crampon makes the "Green Line" oboe which claims to have the durability of plastic with the sound quality of wood. Is this true?
