Hey all, I have been playing alto for around 6 years and decided that it`s time to try something new. I was originally going to rent / buy a tenor but I heard this guy...Branford Marsalles I think his name was, playing a straight soprano. I LOVED the sound. And there aren`t many soprano players around as far as my area at least...so...I want one

But I don`t know which brand to buy as far as a beginner to intermediate soprano, nor to buy a straight or curved soprano. I have some cash to spend on this, and I definitely want one thats going to last me a while and that plays very well. I don`t, however, have really deep pockets so...what can you tell me? Thanks.
