Hey,
I`m just starting to learn bassoon, but i have no-one to teach me. I`m even using the school`s bassoon, but our band director can`t play the bassoon.
Does anyone have any suggestions on websites or books which would help me get started?

I played the oboe, and the guy next to me played bassoon. Fingering was the same, so we sort of compared and helped eachother. But yes, you have to get a book, and there is no one particular book. Luckily, it`s not hard. I`ve never seen anybody have a problem, except for the cost of reeds! Suggest you look at your favourite music shop. Now on guitar, Strat Man Dwight
