McFly like stuff

I know McFloy arn`t really a rock band but I`m 13 and a group of my mates and me have started up a band and we would like to do McFly type stuff cos their songs are so catchy and people like them. Any advice please? Also we need a name?

I see you being called the Randy Boys. Hope that`s okay. Play all kinds of cover songs, don`t do your own just yet, stroke hard and make lots of noise. Avoid bad habits and things that take you away from your music, unless you need a job to make some money to keep adding to your equipment. You`ll catch on. Been there, done that, it`s good.
