I play piano and I`ve curiosity to learn trumpet, Can i learn trumpet by myself or it`s very hard?

it is not that hard. you can learn yourself, but i would recommend taking classes.

I play oboe, and piccolo in the marching band. I cant get a sound out of a trumpet, but i can get sounds from a tuba. I jsut cant seem to find the pitch. it seems like u have to have a good ear to play brass.

Yes, a teacher would help, so would a course on CD with book. You need to hear something as a reference, then you can teach yourself something. Strat Man Dwight

Once you learn how to read music you can teach yourself almost any instrument. The trumpet was my fist instrument so I took lessons for that.
Then I started the piano, I only needed a few lessons to learn about chords and hand positions. After that I taught myself the flute and I`m teaching myself the clarinet.
It becomes addictive or at least in my opinion it is.
