I Like the sound of thru-body stringing and the idea of graphite reinforced necks, but how do they compare against older jazz basses? Has anyone played/owned both? I play in a country punk band and have never owned a brand new bass. This is the only time I will probably be able to afford one! Any ideas? Thanks.
