Description:
Handmade, Hungarian, full size cello, about 6 years old. The top is made out of two pieces of medium grain European spruce, the back is made out of two pieces of nicely flamed European maple. It has a lovely arch with a style between Stradivarius and Amati. The varnish is a walnut colour and flexible in quality. The label inside the cello is `Copy of Robert Legnhardt`. Its tone is mellow and responsive, and rich in overtones. It comes with a hard case, a good beginner`s bow (worth $250), rosin, a battery operated tuner, and 9 books of cello music (mainly beginner). Appraisal sheet available valuing the instrument at $6000 Canadian.
