umm ok heres the deal me and my band just started up we`ve been together for about 1 month now and we are trying to make some sweet punk songs..........but the things is we really dont know where to start if any one has any pointers or tips or any advice please comment back thanks soooo much

sorry, but we all know "garage bands" never work out, but if ur really determined, here are some suggestions:
1. try the weird al thing-make fun of other songs
2. base ur songs on real things-not dying in a cell phone explosion, or hating everything about someone!
3. to play the part, u gotta dress the part!
