can anyone help me i am trying to find out how to change sheet music for the guitar(i.e. chourds) into sax sheet music can anyone tell me how to do it or tell me a web site that tells you how to do it thanx

Hi, I don`t know exactly. but I know guitar is a C instrument and an alto sax is Eb. so you have to transpose.
When you play a C at your guitar it sounds like a C, but if you play a C at your alto sax it sounds like an Eb. So if you want your alto sax so sound like a C you have to play an A. It is 3 half-steps lower (or 1,5 tone lower) grtz, joyce
