Have you ever got made fun of in school??? I have i get called, fatty (when im reall skinny), bannd weenie, band geek, and band nerd. All my friends(witch are most cheerleaders) say quit band! wut do i do HeLp ASAP!!!!!!

It`s called bullying, and it`s both inappropriate and unacceptable. Bullies are the ones with the problem(s). Unfortunately, you are still their victim. You must lessen the impact by not letting it affect you, because that gives them control. Go about your own business, with confidence and ... respect yourself. If it burdens you still, just to know that they exist - it`s natural to feel that way, but don`t think about it. Think positive thoughts. They will eventually go on to have rotten lives full of stress & failure, but don`t think about that either. Just focus on your own goals. You keep trying your best, and you will earn most of the things that you are working for.

Also, I seem to recall using the "google" search engine to look up bullying and was led to all kinds of interesting things.

Oh, and yes I was bullied. Those bastards had no idea how much strength they were giving me, like they were giving me supercharged mental and physical energy & education for free. Yeah, what a bunch of losers.

I use to say screw them they are just jealous because I got a skill that will last me longer than highschool.

However, I am the one who is studying at my country`s number 1 tertiary music institution, while the morons who made fun of me will be still struggling to survive by shovelling sh*t for $2 per hour 20 years from now.

Sounds like you all have a lot of pent up anger to deal with. see a shrink.I don`t understand why you even care what there saying. i`ve never been teased for bein in the band but even if i was everybody gets teased for one thing or another. learn to deal with the sh1t now cause you`ll have to deal with stuff like this all your life. and just remember. hard work is for those who lack talent. i don`t know why i added that. just thought it was a good quote from our good friend George Carlin.

Of course I have...you know during rallys (well maybe not at your schools) but we have a band section, and while each class is chanting their names, we`re all yelling "band geeks!" I think all the ridicule just gives us mre pride..the amount of stuff people say to us has just made us laugh at them...they dont know what they`re talking about half the time. just call them a sforzando (sp?) and maybe they`ll walk away confused.
