Hey. My name is Whitney and I am in the 8th grade. I take a period off of school once a week to help the begining band. There are 2 boys. One is so good. He sometimes helps me. And the other is terrible. So this is what I suggest to you. Take up the flute and go for it. PRACTICE! Ignor rude comments because thats what you like. My good friend wanted to play the trupet but she said she didnt want to because she is a girl. She played the flute for a while and hated it. Then she tried the trupet and has been playing for 4 years. Give it a shot. and e-mail me if you need any advise or anything.
