Hello.
I purchased an inexpensive violin for my niece for Christmas and am setting it up. When I tried to rosin the bow, it didn`t stick to the bow hairs and it won`t make a sound when drawn across the strings. I know it`s probably not the best stuff, but am I doing something wrong? Or should I purchase better rosin? (Obviously, I`m not a violin player!) Thank you.
