the flute and piccolo do not have the same fingerings as the oboe!!! they just read the same music part...stay away from the flute.

ok, i read you`re thing saying this is your fifth instrument... correct me if i`m wrong... but you listed six.

neways, i play percussion, guitar, tenor and piano... try a string instrument. or learn bass... i`m getting ppl to teach me violin and bass... either electric or string. I think string is way more fun... xcept i`m slightly on the short side!!!

You know, what instrument you play kinda depends on what music you like to play. I took up sax to play the jazz and improv and stuff. What do you like playing??

Flute is the next step as any jazz band will ask for it. also the brass instruments are always fun to learn.

also if you are that bored try teaching one of the instruments...it`s always fun.

Better 2 be a master of one than a jack of all trades. Get good at one instrument!

stick with one of the uncommon insturments I think it is more fun I played the clarinet and now I play the oboe obvisouly I like that theres not alot of people instead of like 20 people on the same insturment in your band.
