Hi, I`m very new to the cello and I was just wondering if it is possible for the cello to just use sheet music intended for the piano, for the violin? I just think it would make finding music way easier. Where I live there aren`t any stores that sell cello music, well, not really. One store had three books, but that`s it.

Unless you are more advanced, you can only use music that is in the bass cleff, so not violin music, but there are other instruments that use the bass cleff and there is no reason why you can`t use them. Also, this site has free music to download for cellos, and you can by sheet music on the internet, where there is loads to choose from. Hope this helps, Bye. $
