My friend stopped being my friend because I was a flute player. She thought I as going to be too snobby.

many flute players i know are annoying and extremely snobbish....just prove you aren`t (somehow)

well people think like that because a lot of the snoby ppl are flutes or they are just popular somehow prove 2 ur friend that u r not snoby then maybe u will be friends again

that person isn`t a true friend then. to not be someones friend just because they are going to play a certain instrument is ridiculous. i play flute and some of my friends play flute and they are not snobby. some flute players are snobby. we had them in my band all through highschool and junior high. your friend will see you aren`t going to change just because you`re playing the flute.

Flute players are people. People are diverse. Flute players happen to be a group of very diverse people, that have been stereotyped because a few people decided to make life sucky for the rest of us.

I play the alto sax and my sister plays the flute. she isn`t snobby, but there are a few snobby and annoying flute players that I know. I think that it just depends on the person.

I play the flute in my school band and some of are snobby (i hope people dont find me that way.) But it doesnt mean all of us are right? i mean some people are just snobby and others want to set that image for themselves

it duz seem 2 b the case that flute players r seen as snobs - mayb its because of the way they play - flautists in our band all seem to look as tho they have sumthin nasty under their noses when they r playin.duznt help that lots of them r girls from `proper` backgrounds

i find that some flute players are and others are not. in my school many of the flutists are very snobby but its because in band you hardly hear them play, and they want to be noticed so they act rude and stuck up. othrs on the other hand seem to just enjoy the most of their time. im friends with 3 flute players who i think are the nicest friends ive had. cept my best friends. besides, flutes dont make that loud of a sound as i said earlier. they just want people to know they play. you actually arent one of those stuck up people. if you found yourself asking " am i really snobby like other flute players" then you can tell by your curiosity that you think all people are the same. its not the instrument that determines your personality its you.

i think it is because the flute repersents class and style. and people often mistake class,style,and upbringing for snobbyness

all people can be snobby sum times. people only say flute players are annoying because they have nothin else 2 say about us!!!

I`ve heard the comment at our school that flute players should have blonde hair and be preppy, but I`ve always been 3rd to 5th chair and I`ve never been called a snob .. just a brat by my mom.. but who doesn`t get called that?
