Does anyone know a cool trick to get a weird sound on a saxophone. I have to improv a solo tomorrow against Marvin`s version of "I Heard It Through the Grapevine."

try some alternate fingerings for the notes,it might give you a slightly differt tone.i also have that song for a band myself at lakeland highlands middle school. just informing ya:]
