Hi- I have the opportunity to buy a 1940`s/50`s upright Bass by Epiphone. It has a blonde, tiger maple body. It has the black lines on the back (?binding). It has a carved headstock. It has the white and black epiphone tag on the tail piece. It appears to be in good original condition. The finish is worn from the neck and there are other finish wear signs as well as general fading of the gloss. It sounds pretty good.`
What should I pay for this bass? Is $2700 to much??
