Rosin is made from tree sap.
How quick you progress depends on talent, age, determination, and most of all, practice. I`d say the average is to go through one to four grades per year. It`s rare to not get through a grade in a year, and it`s even rarer to pass five or more grades in a year.
This my first year, and I`m towards the end of grade two. Of course, I was set back by illness in July, December and January.
