OK. Heres the story.
My BD has SOOO MANY sousa marches. And very few King marches. Now i think Sousa is WAYYY better then King. And he had switched our marches around like for the 5th time now. The Drum Majors are tired of comming up with new Routines/Salutes and we have to work our butts off playing these then switching to a new one and doing movements for parades. Now he decided for the march to be "Alamo" by K.L. King. And i want to convince him to let us do a Sousa march.
Does any one have any ideas on how we can convince him. I was thinking the whole band practice "King Cotton"(SOusa march) and then out of no where wen the Drum Majors calls the ROll Off, he would be expectiong to here Alamo, and instead the band plays "King Cotton"

I`m the opposite of you. Our band plays way to many King marches and I can`t stand him anymore. I would love to play more sousa`s but well..don`t think tha`ts going to happen
