hey at my school, in band we name our insturments do you all have any naming suggestions? thanx i am not good with names

I know that some people are going to laugh at this, but I truly fell that every flute has some what of a heart or soul.

What kind of personality does your flute have? Is is soft spoken, powerful, bold?
Only you know, and should name it.

hey me and a friend named our flutes 1 day 4 the fun of it and my flute`s name is to coda we just kinda looked @ our music and took musical terms maybe u should try that

A name beginning with F usually works like Florence or Francis. That`s what I tried but it didn`t go down too well at band! KC has the idea - your flute will already have a name, you just have to find it!

If this matches your personalty choose something random, or in the case of some of my friends, we choose code names for guys we liked and named our flutes those code names. For instince KFC (his real name is nick) is my friends sax, Emmy (real name Matt) is my picc and so on. Or pick a fovorite object

I personaly, would name my flute after something you really love. My friend is obnsessed w/ Finding Nemo so she named her flute Flo.

I ended up naming my old Armstrong Bubbles-a joke concerning my old band director...I dont know what to call my D.C. Pro, though, if anything...I usually dont stick to my names or call my flutes by them.

I name all of my instruments i have a flute called Milly Molly and a sax called Kiara. I choose the names because i liked the names and because they reminded me of past musical experiences so try working from that and see if that helps!!

Well, I hope that taking a lesson in how to spell properly is not "too far".
Sorry that was a bit mean, but it really helps when you can read what one person has written without squinting...

The only thing I find sad on here is Arza89. I may have horrible spelling myself, but at least I use real words.
