Another demonstration of ignorance. Why is it that in this forum so many people say so much that they know nothing about!!!
Some very simple research of fingering charts will show that you are completely wrong.
"He who knows not, and knows not that he knows not, is a fool; avoid him"
Is this an American disease?

The highest note on the flute is C, or as I like to call it, GRAND C. The fingering is the 1, 2, 3, 4, and Ab key (the one for ur left pinky). Good Luck!!

No the C is not the highest note on the flute. I like what Meme wrote.
Please don`t answer a question if you do not know what you are talking about.
No Meme, it is no an American thing, it is a young inexperienced persons thing.

Was the first person asking for a standard highest note, or a highest note possible to get out?
The standard is C. The end.
Ya, there is tons more to be found out, and are used already, but you wouldn`t use it in any band, orchestra, symphony etc. So it`s not much deal.

What do you mean by `standard`. As far as I know, no such thing has ever been defined. Do you mean YOUR standard? If not, whose? Your teacher`s? High B is used far more often than the C, so is IT `the` standard?
