Hey, don`t worry about embouchure, i`m a flute player and have recently taken up saxophone and i had a similar problem when i started, i also found it extremely difficult swapping between the two in gigs. It just takes practise, once you get the embouchure it will click and then everytime you play, you will improve it, soon enough the embouchure will be set in stone. I also noticed that breathing and articulation on saxophone greatly helped my flute playing, so you might find yourself with a great advantage. Good luck, i hope you do well and i`m sure you`ll make a fantastic flautist!

Don`t worry. You can usually start
producing sounds that sound like a
flute after blowing into the
embouchure hole with your lips pursed into different positions for no more than an hour or so. Once you
find the set of the lips that produces the best sound try to keep to it. The first octave on the flute
is usually the easiest with the exception of bottom C which takes
some oboe-style diaphram practice to
perfect. I found the first few notes
of the second octave need practice and perserverance to achieve, but
once you`ve got over the second octave and into the third, you`re
on your way. Just relax whilst you are playing, and good luck!
