I wanted to know if any of you guys have had an experience with a Burkart-Phelan Global Piccolo. I am thinking about getting one and I wanted to know what you guys thought about them. Anything about them would be helpful. Thanks!

These are considered one of the best piccolo brands out there. What would you be using this piccolo for? Since it`s wooden i would only suggest using it for concert band not marching band as the wood will likely crack. But these piccolo`s have a great reputation. Have you tried other brands besides this? If not, you should really see if this is the best piccolo for YOU. You may like a different brand more than you like this one.

I will be using it for a Wind Ensemble and a Symphony Orchestra. I will also try out other piccolos at the NFA Convention to see what one suits me best. I just wanted to get some other input from some other flutists about this specific piccolo.

I have heard many good things about that piccolo. I think I am going to purchase one at the NFA Convention next month.

I play picc professionaly and I can say that I highly recommend this piccolo. I own one and love it!
